  • Two new 150'000k gold champions were released: Coragh the Two-Headed on the first release of legendary runes, and K'ento, The First Disciple on the second legendary release.
  • Many of the expansions had more than one legendary release: Heritage had 3 releases, Crusade of the Vashal and Endless Wonder had two and only Wild Alliance had one legendary release. This caused some anger on the community, which caused the developers to promise the next expansion, Broken Shard, be a free-legendary release.
  • A contest was held for this expansion: The Fan Rune Art contest. Participants would send their own rune art based on the description provided by the developers. The winner would be awarded with their rune art being used instead the 'official' rune art. The winner was the player "Faxtar", with his submission for the Silverclan Hoplite.
  • The rune depicted on the banner is the Hekatian Arbiter.
