Recommended Builds: Shatter is all but mandetory when upgrading,

In a normal Beast/Plant deck, the Frond could go as high as 57 HP. This is the result of being 39 hp base; gaining 7 from Foment, 6 from Boost and 5 from a Warbanner. This causes the rune to exceed the 1:1 nora to HP ratio barrier greatly when it was cheaper.

Released in the Drums of War Expansion, the rune recieved little love from players, even before the Pox 2.0 revamp. Players vigorously petitioned for the Fronds flavour text to be changed to the pun "He was Frond of just Ambling around". Players are lead to believe that the crown shaped branch on his head might be a sign of the Ambling Frond being descended from Treefolk royalty,

In celebration of the Frond's buff of 2012, a player created a fan video of champions partying hard. Upon reviewing this footage, game designer Derek Chin decided to change Ambling Frond's race to Beast & Demi-God. Many players suggested that this warranted a flavor text change to go along with it, and so the Frond recieved a humorous text change.
